At its most beautiful by moonlight, the Floating Palace rests majestically in the middle of Lake Pichola in Udaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Built in 1743 facing east towards Surya the Hindu sun god, the winter palace fell into disrepair and converted into a luxury hotel by Bhagwat Singh with the help of artist Didi Contractor

Visiting India’s like stepping into a dream. Nothing is familiar – probably why I love it so much – it's a land of colour + contrast. Every inch of India is strange, bewildering + beautiful. Her hues, culture, clothes, rituals, artistry, smells, scenery, soul make my heart sing. Most of all I admire her people; their openness, warmth, generosity and good humour is enchanting ☆

Turnaround times are approximately 4 – 8 weeks (depending on the product) from placing your order because before we ship to you, our pieces are hand-crafted locally in more than one of our studios or design houses before coming back to us for quality checks
